K&IMC at Viola Days 2025

October 5, 2025 — Hartlepool Town Hall Theatre

Showcasing Our Restored Instruments

Kandimc exhibited nine violas, including two viola d’amore and a five-string viola, all carefully restored in our workshop.
We also presented five viola bows and two baroque bows, reflecting the precision and musicality that define our approach to restoration.

Musicians and visitors stopped by our stand to try the instruments, ask questions, and share their impressions. Many spent time playing our violas and took flyers to learn more — their enthusiasm was truly encouraging for our team.

A Day Dedicated to the Art of the Viola

On October 5th, 2025, Kandimc took part in Viola Days 2025, a special event celebrating viola craftsmanship and performance, held at the Hartlepool Town Hall Theatre.

The gathering brought together makers, restorers, and musicians from across the UK and Europe — all united by their passion for sound, tradition, and the art of instrument making.

An Inspiring Atmosphere

The event brought together a vibrant community of luthiers and restorers who showcased their own work, making the day full of creativity, conversation, and shared appreciation for the craft.
We were glad to connect with fellow makers and performers, exchange ideas, and enjoy the music filling the hall throughout the day.

Thank You from the Kandimc Team

We would like to thank the organisers of Viola Days 2025 for creating such a warm and inspiring event, and everyone who visited the Kandimc stand.
It was a wonderful experience to share our work, meet musicians, and celebrate the beauty of the viola.
